New restaurant Soutine opens in London

The St John’s Wood address is the ninth London establishment from the duo behind The Wolseley, The Delaunay, Fischer’s and Colbert.

To say Chris Corbin and Jeremy King know a thing or two about restaurants is like stating that business magnate Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha, has a knack for investing. So the news that the duo are opening a new London haunt, following the success of The Wolseley, Fischer’s and Colbert, is sure to cause a stir in the world of fine cuisine.

Soutine in St John’s Wood High Street – the duo’s ninth London establishment – will serve its first guests on April 29. The restaurant is set to be similar in style to Colbert, the French-inspired café-brasserie on Sloane Square, with tables on the pavement, a light and airy café and bar hosting 15 guests, as well as a more formal dining area to the rear of the space, but will have its “own identity” inspired by the strong artistic heritage of the neighbourhood, with interiors designed by Brady Williams.
